Once I installed the license and restarted the server, I get prompted for a username and password, but it never connects.

I saw someone suggesting that one of my button labels beyond the first 15 might have a non-ascii character in them, so I checked. All of my button labels are ascii only.

I ran fop2_server --test and it tells me that I have a valid license and that it connects to the manager OK. If I revoke the license and restart the server, everything works fine. Re-register, and the problem returns.

Any suggestions on how to get this working with the license in place?

Installed in demo mode, was able to login. Purchased a license, registered license, login screen is continuously trying to login. I did use an apostrophe in the name. I tried to revoke and reinstall the license, but I am not prompted to reenter the name. Any assistance would be appreciated.

My session times out when I try to log in.

I've double-checked that the response from file /tmp/buttons.cfg returns ASCII text.

I suspected a bad character in the licensee name (I used an apostrophe), and tried to revoke the license, change the name and re-register, but perhaps I can't change the licensee name on my own after registering.

I will email you my registration code.

Are you prompted for exten/pass again? or it times out 1,2,3,4 ?

To see a list of valid users you must inspect the output from

/usr/local/fop2/autoconfig-users-freepbx.sh

To see if you might have an invalid character run:

/usr/local/fop2/autoconfig-buttons-freepbx.sh >/tmp/buttons.cfg
file /tmp/buttons.cfg

It should say "ASCII text", if anything else, you do have a bad character somewhere, opening the /tmp/buttons.cfg with less will probably show it as a ? sign

There is another posibility of a bad character, and that is in the licensee name, that is hard to find/check , you will have to send me by email (NOT HERE!) your activation code so I can review it. Or you can try to catch me on the live help to chat.

Best regards,
