Today, I upgraded to the latest FOP2 chrome extension and notifications still do not work. The interesting part is if I go to the FOP2 Extension Options and make a change, the notification works until I close the browser and then it stops working again until I make another change in FOP2 Extension option. Any ideas?

No idea what could be happening. I will test myself and see if it happens to me also. It was a rush release to overcome the deprecation of rich web notifications, so it might have some bugs I did not notice. I will let you know if I find something.
