<![CDATA[Safari does not display notifications properly]]>Within Safari, notifications do not work quite right. By default, it does not pull the notification time, so the pop ups sit there for a long time before disappearing. Once a timeout has been set, they do disappear, but not consistently. We have seen them stick around after a call for a long time, or sometimes disappear, then reappear later. Everything seems to work fine in Firefox. Is there a way to improve compatibility with Safari, or should we just use Firefox?

I am developing on Mac, but snow leopard, not lion. I have not seen/experience this behavior. The only way to find a solution is to somehow replicate the problem so I can see where the problem is....

The customer has imacs/macbooks, mostly the latest generation, running lion.

I would need to replicate the issue somehow in order to troubleshot and work on fixes.
