I have added 'preferences' to the permissions list for individual Fop2 users and also created a Fop2 Permission applied to all extensions. The only people that get the Preferences icon are those with 'all' as their permission. Am I missing something that is required - other than just adding 'preferences'?
Tried again this morning to add preferences to individual users. Some I'd tried twice with no luck.
Most probably a typo ?!?
Possibly, but I did check the spelling several times. I'm wondering if cutting and pasting the word into the text box was somehow different that (cr lf wise) that using the drop down.

Whatever. It's working now!

Unfortunately the first thing I tried was to manually add the preferences permission to individuals and that didn't work. They don't see the Preferences icon on their panel.

Creating a permission does not assign that permission to everyone in the groups you select in that permission. It just limits that permission to those buttons if the permission/action can be applied to that button.

You must edit each user and assign your custom permission, or just add the preferences permissions to each one of them.

Best regards,
