Not All Extensions Showing

I am not sure if I got the right forum but I am running into an issue with FOP2. I have the latest version....2.26 I believe and I am running into an issue with it not displaying all of the phones that are registered and working. For example I have ext 619 showing on the FOP2 Web GUI but 620 is not.

If I go into the FOP Buttons it does list it there. I also checked the groups and made sure that it was a part of the correct group. It still doesn't show.

I also gave myself an account will all access and it looks like I have more than one extension that is missing. I ran the following command per another forum post and I don't see anything different

Command:

/usr/local/fop2/autoconfig-buttons-freepbx.sh

Oh also I am running PBX in a Flash with Centos 6.2

Thanks in advance.

  • Are you using the Lite or Registered version? The lite/free version is limited to 15 buttons on screen, count the buttons, if you see 15, you are reaching that limit.

    Best regards,
  • Nicolas,

It is the registered version. Is there a limit on that one? I believe that we have about 80 phones. Thanks for your response.

  • No, there is no limit at all. But if you defined groups, then the groups might be limiting the button display (they are used just for that!). Another possibility is that you have the button disabled (checked on the fop2 buttons page, the checkbox is for disabling the button).

To verify all the button configuration that is being set by the autoconfiguration scripts you can run it by hand, like

    /usr/local/fop2/autoconfig-buttons-freepbx.sh >/tmp/buttons.cfg

Then inspect the /tmp/buttons.cfg and see if you have extension 620 in there or not.

    Best regards,
  • Ok thanks. I do have some groups but this is when I am viewing all extensions. I have about four or five that are not showing up. I have tried checking the names and making sure it wasn't something with that. I have also checked the buttons like you have said and I do see the ones that are failing to show. Here is some of the output (below).

I have **** the User of the phone but that is all. Let me know what you think. Thanks again.

  • If you see the button, then it is most probably a bad group configuration, what is the output from

    /usr/local/fop2/autoconfig-users-freepbx.sh

What extension are you login in as?
  • I took a look at the autoconfig-users-freepbx.sh and this is what I can see:

Here is my User and the Access it has:

    user=477:3131:all:All Trunks,All Conferences,All Queues,All Extensions,All Buttons,Support - Agency,Sales - Links Plus,Support - Vendor,All

Let me know if you see anything in that. All I can see is that it should work based off of the groups and the associations. The only thing that I can think of is that it could have something to do with my User having access to all of the groups and that it is conflicting somewhere.

    Thanks in advance.

  • It looks like the copy paste didn't list all of the extensions. I do see the 620 and 9000 in there however I don't see them on the FOP2. Thanks again.
  • Do you have a group named "All" ?

Try this, go to fop2 users, edit the user you are trying and uncheck all groups it has. Save, apply changes, and then try to login again.

I am sure it is a bad group configuration.. fop2 does not like same name group/permissions as stock/default ones. Perhaps that is your problem.
  • Nicolas,

Thank you for your response. Sorry that it has taken me a long time to look into this. I figured it out and it was something with the built in groups and the user. I am not sure what fixed it other than removing the user from all of the groups, but yet they still have access. Its working so I am not going to worry about it. Thanks Nicolas
