Safari does not display notifications properly

Within Safari, notifications do not work quite right. By default, it does not pull the notification time, so the pop ups sit there for a long time before disappearing. Once a timeout has been set, they do disappear, but not consistently. We have seen them stick around after a call for a long time, or sometimes disappear, then reappear later. Everything seems to work fine in Firefox. Is there a way to improve compatibility with Safari, or should we just use Firefox?

    I have tested Safari and haven't had the issues you describe... what version are you using? I would need to replicate the issue somehow in order to troubleshot and work on fixes.

    We actually ended up seeing this in every browser tested on macs. The customer has imacs/macbooks, mostly the latest generation, running lion.

    I am developing on Mac, but snow leopard, not lion. I have not seen/experience this behavior. The only way to find a solution is to somehow replicate the problem so I can see where the problem is....
