Whisper stops working for one agent

So - I got whisper and spy working. Everyone here is happy.

Appart from one person who's whisper button becomes unresponsive after a while. Mine still works fine but this one extension does not work.

Tried logging into FOP2 on another PC and it still doesn't work.

Nothing comes up in the asterisk session when the button is clicked either.

I am out of ideas! Can anyone shed light on this?

Hi Paul,

I need to try to reproduce the problem, there is another report like yours using FOP 2.22, so I think fop2 is loosing permission state at some point, perhaps after an AMI disconnection or something. Is there anything you can say about the moment the command stops working? just random times? After XX minutes/hours? After applying changes in FreePBX? Any information would help to narrow down the issue and work on a fix.

I found the problem and I am working on a fix. Expect a fop2 update in the next hours. (Problem occurs if you log into fop2, perform spy or whisper, then logout and log back in, at that point spy permission is denied).
