ring groups shold be displayed at the right, not sure why you see them diferently?? what fop2 version are you using? paging and intercom is not a supported group, so I suspect you actually have defined the group field on some extennsions.. extensions will be shown always at the main/left panel, no matter the group you set for them.
I did create button group for Paging so they are together, they are still on the left side in the list of extensions.

Paging is not a FreePBX "entity" so to speak, ring groups are, and they show at the right if you have them created with the ring group freepbx module. What do you see when you go to fop2admin fop2 buttons page under the ring group section?
