Can whisper, but can't Listen

Hello,

I'm a new user of fully new activated FOP2.
I have installed it on Elastix, and I have added the registration code I get yesterday.

This is the problem I'm expecting.

I have 2 extensions : 1101 and 4101.
I make a call from 4101 to *43 (echo test).
I want to spy this conversation from 1101.

So I log in to FOP2 with 1101 id and his voicemail password.
At this point, everything works fine. I can see the extension 4101 online with *43.

When I select the 4101 extension, and click on "Listen" button, a call arrive my phone (1101), but it ring in the 4101 conversation (the conversation I try to spy) !
I take the call, but I can't hear anything. No sound, just blank.

The Whisper mode seems to works. I can hear the conversation.
When I take the call it says the extension number ( "4101 .... ") and I can hear the conversation, and talk to 4101.

I don't understand why i'm not able to " listen only" the conversation.

Here is my chanspy section in extensions_custom.conf

  • Did you try with a "real" bridged call? FOP2 just calls the chan spy application, directly, it does not use any special contexts.

    I did not understand that you say it rings your phone and then rings the phone you want to spy on? Please try with a regular call, between TWO extensions or extension and trunk, and try there. Maybe chanspy has troubles on an echo test application, anyways, this is totally outside fop2 itself.
