'Manager Connection Problem'

Hi all,

I have a fop2 2.26 installation on Ubuntu 12.04 connected to a freepbx asterisk setup.
I can run /usr/local/fop2/fop2_serer --test and it says "Connection to manager okay!"
However, when visit the web interface and enter my extension and password I get a popup box that says "Manager Connection Problem"

I have my buttons configured and they work (sortof) The buttons will display the IP of the device registered and will sometimes show when the line is in use but doesn't update when they hang up until I refresh the page.

I am so confused because it works, but not 100% correctly. What am I missing? Is there something I can do to fix the manager connection issue from the web interface? Is there anything I can do to fix the monitoring of the extensions?

Thanks in advance!

  • Most probably your manager connection is unstable or disconnected. It connects but after a short while the connection is lost, at that point, you will see the manager connection error on the browser and status mismatch on the buttons.

Be sure to setup a special manager user for fop2 , if possible following the sample on this blog post:

    http://www.fop2.com/blog/make-fop2-snap ... ventfilter

    Then try again.
