Device/user mode- make fop2 behave like ext mode
Im running freepbx 2.9, asterisk 1.8 and the latest Fop2 install
I run in device user mode, but I really want fop2 to behave like it's in extension mode. Is this possible?
Monitoring extension connectivity is more important to me than monitoring login and logout as only one groups of 15 extensions actually uses the login/logout the other 45 ext all have fixed users
Is it as simple as disabling the auto config scripts and writing a cfg file in the [sip/xxxx] format? If so how do I kill the auto cfg scrips?
Thanks,
Geoff

We worked a solution via live help/remote support already. By modifying both autoconfig-users-freepbx.sh and autoconfig-buttons-freepbx.sh we changed the configuration to use devices instead of users. (replacing every USER instance with SIP).
