DND + quick hang up fools FOP2

The DND button on our Aastra phones dials *78/*79 to take you on/off DND. There is a voice which says "Do Not Disturb - Activated/Deactived" which my users have grown tired of hearing.

So, they hit the DND button then quickly pick and hang up the handset to cut her talking short. However this leaves the DND notification icons in FOP2 in an un-synchronized state of their actual phone status. Users will be in DND whereas FOP2 will not show them as such and visa-verse.

If they pick and hang up a little slower, then FOP2 will get the notification and stay synced. So, can FOP2 at least run through a icon/status refresh every 10 seconds or stay in sync better?

    This is not a FOP2 issue, you have some dialplan macros that fires the DND event after it is actually performed, you can invert those actions and it will work fine. FOP2 reacts to events, it does not poll for information and it will never rely on polling for getting status. So, modify your aastra scripts to fire a userevent as one of the first priorities, that will probably fix the problem you describe.
