Getting strange error when restart FOP2

Hello,

When I execute this command: /etc/rc.d/init.d/fop2 restart I am getting op_server.pl: no process killed, and then I am not able to connect to the fop2 panel " Could not connect to server "

[root@ets-elastix2 asterisk]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/fop2 restart
Shutting down Flash Operator Panel 2:                      [  OK  ]
op_server.pl: no process killed
Starting Flash Operator Panel 2:                           [  OK  ]

Could you advise me how to fix that issue.

It is not a problem at all... the startup script tries to stop the old FOP1, as you do not have it, it gives that warning. It is not harmful and does not cause any problems.

I have checked something:

netstat -lnp |grep 4445

[root@ets-elastix2 fop2]# netstat -lnp |grep 4445
tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:4445                0.0.0.0:*                   LIST                          EN      2193/fop2_server

#> cd /usr/local/fop2
#> ./fop2_server

You might have the Elastix firewall enabled, without a rule to allow connections to port tcp/4445. For a quick test, if you have that firewall enabled, DISABLE it and try again.

(Your 2nd command with the Can't listen error is logical, you cannot start fop2 *twice*, it was already running).
