Drag and Drop extensions to a ring group
Hi everyone!
I've tried to found some information about this on the group, but without success. So I apologize if this is a duplicate topic.
I need to know, if is a way to add extensions to a ring group by "drag and drop" or "clicking" the extension and selecting "add to ring group X".
This is the situation: We have a few queues attended by the same group of people.
I need information about the queues, because every one is for a different product, and also need to use the same extensions to attend the calls.
The team leader, is the persons who get the agents in and out of the queues manually because complex people administration reasons. So add everyone to every queue it's just a never ending task.
It will be great if the TL could drag and drop (o something) the extensions to a ring group and point all the queues to this ring group.
Hope exist a way.
Thank you!
Joe

You can add members to a queue, as the queue is a native asterisk application with a proper api to work with.
Ring groups are not made with an application, but with custom dialplan recipes.. as such, there is no native asterisk api to work with them.
FOP2 is an Asterisk application, (not a FreePBX application), for that reason there is no way to modify the FreePBX configuration from FOP2 itself. You have to use FreePBX for that.
In any case, you can very well replace your ring groups with queues, they behave exactly like the same.
Best regards,
