FOP2 Link Information

I have a web application, and FOP2 successfully works when using phone numbers embedded in the HTML of a page.

The question I have is how to make FOP2 dial numbers that are not explicitly in the text of the page. Ideally this would include phone numbers in textboxes, but I could create a <a> link to make things work with a certain protocol, or key to call FOP2, to recognize it is a phone number.

I looked around, and don't see anything. Any suggestions?

    callto links will be converted, but it is not possible to have form fields fire a click to call event.
