Upgrade from 2.26 to 2.27

I'm convinced I need to upgrade from 2.26 to 2.27. I've been experiencing the memory and freezing issues others have experienced. I've downloaded http://download.fop2.com/fop2-2.27-centos-x86_64.tgz., but I don't know how to upgrade it. I saw a post about 2.24 - 2.26, but I'm afraid using that guide will break my config. Anyone have any instructions on upgrading it? Thanks for your help.

    Somewhat I missed to reply this post, and I am sure you already upgraded.

    To upgrade versions just download the new version, extract it and run "make".
