Parking lot and trunk missing from display

Client reports that trunks and parking lot are missing from FOP2 display. Verified.

Verified that the trunk shows in the button config in the FreePBX GUI. The Parking Lot does, too, but it's showing the WRONG number (700 and the lot is configured at 900). I cannot disable the button in the interface; I check the box, click submit, click Apply, and when the page reloads the box is still unchecked.

At the FOP2 web page, only the extensions show.

FreePBX 4.211.64-8, Asterisk 10.12.3

This install has been running just fine since May (not the same as the other install I posted about today).

  • What fop2admin version are you using? Please consider that what you see is the result of your fop2.cfg file AND if you use autoconfiguration, is the result of data in FOP2Admin, that is a different product than FOP2 itself.

What do you have in fop2.cfg? manual configuration or automatic configuration? If automatic configuration, check the output from the button config

    /usr/local/fop2/autoconfig-buttons-freepbx.sh

    Do you see things there?

Regarding fop2admin, be sure to always use the latest version available (1.2.14 as of today).

    Best regards,
  • We have 1.2.13. I've just upgraded to 1.2.14.

I was able to get the parking lot to reappear last week by changing its extension, then changing it back. However, the Trunk shows in the FOP2 Buttons area of the module, but is not displayed in the user interface.

    #exec autoconfig-users-freepbx.sh is in fop2.cfg

    sudo bash autoconfig-buttons-freepbx.sh

Returns output that includes the ring group and trunk that are not displaying in the user interface. The ring group, trunk, and parking lot are not selected to not be displayed.

    Ideas?
  • Did you configure groups and assigned them to users?
  • No. No groups are configured.

This install (FreePBX and FOP2) has been in place and working since May. The client reported the Parking Lot missing last week.

Perhaps the easiest thing would be to remove and reinstall FOP2?
  • I don't think that removing/reinstalling will fix anything. Things are pretty simple really. If you do not see a button it is either not configured or not enabled or filtered via groups. Also, buttons do not disappear for no reason. Something happened. Perhaps a freepbx upgrade, a reconfiguration somewhere, etc.

Try to catch me in the live help and I will probably be able to review your configs. Only a look at fop2.cfg, and the output for both autoconfig-users-freepbx.sh and autoconfig-buttons-freepx.sh will give me the whole picture. And it has to be the real output for those commands and the actual fop2.cfg file.

Gladly. I'm not sure how to do that, though.

As always, great product and thanks for the assistance!
