Passing DTMF tones in FOP2

Is there a way to pass DTMF tones using the FOP2 GUI?
E.g., I am calling an IVR and want to enter an extension number while on the call. Is something like this possible without having to touch my phone itself?

The dial box has a dialpad, but currently it does not send anything through asterisk. A plugin can be written for that for 2.28, or I might add it as a standard feature on 2.29 by using the sendDTMF manager application.
