FOP2 WebPortal Slow Update

Hi Admin,

The FOP2 web portal is not updating automatically or refreshed. Currently I have no calls waiting on my screen however there is a call in Queue on main display screen. What is the possible cause of this and how can I solved this?

Event floods (eventmemberstatus=yes), broken Asterisk, bad manager configuration permissions, not using eventfilters, etc.

Hi Admin,

Thank you for the reply. Upon checking the manager.conf file, the writetimeout had no value.
We set 5000 value to writetimeout.

Is this may cause any effect in updating the fop2 web portal?

It does not affect responsiveness. It just tells asterisk to wait up to X time before disconnecting a rogue or unresponsive manager connection. The fop2 server performs ONE asterisk manager connection and keeps it up all the time, to receive events and send commands. If that link breaks, then you will loose events that will ultimately update the FOP2 web display. If the manager disconnects every now and then and it is not stable, then FOP2 won't be stable either.

Also, be sure to use always the latest available FOP2 version, what is the one you are using now ?

/usr/local/fop2/fop2_server -v

We are using fop2_server version 2.29.01.

upgrade to 2.29.02, just download, extract and run make
