FOP Freezes on Paging

Fop2 is installed version 1.2.13 on a Freepbx system version 2.210.62.6. About a month ago when they do a page, the call goes through and the FOP shows the call, BUT the FOP does not show the paging call releasing. Only logging out and back in to FOP will it show the proper status of the phones. Any ideas what could be happening? 2nd question, since this customer has already purchased the license for FOP will this license work on the newer version of FOP if I install it?

Hi Ed,

Please verify your FOP2 version with /usr/local/fop2/fop2_server -v

(as 1.2.13 is not a valid version number...)

If you can replicate the problem using page, let me know how is that setup so I can try to reproduce it... but as always, you should test with latest versions as bugs might be fixed in newer versions already.

Regarding version upgrades, they are free for ONE year, after that year the upgrade is u$s20.

The version number is 2.26 (sorry). They are dialing the page feature code of 2600 in the freepbx system. there are approximately 15 phones in the group.

Well,,, I upgraded the license and I installed the new version of FOP2. I can log into the admin and I see that the original users and buttons are still there. The users get a "One Moment Please" Attempting to connect .... Message. If I do a service status FOP2 is running. What else can I do to get this location working? The connectioon to the AMI is good also.

Is your panel in /var/www/html/fop2 ? If you upgrade versions, the new web files are installed there. If you use a different path then the client files are not upgraded and older versions might not work with the new server. Another posibility is that your browser is using cached versions for those files, so you must force a page refresh or clear the cache.
