Bulk Password update

Hi,

We have only had a few users using FOP2, and now we would like to add all our staff, so I have used the Recreate users button to bring in all my users, but I would like to know where the password is pulled from(if anywhere)?

And leading on from that, is there anywhere I can bulk update passwords, as manually filling in 200 6 digit passwords is not something I want to do!!

    User information is stored in the fop2users mysql table. You can write a script to perform any kind of mass update you need to perform. There is no way to perform mass update on users via the FOP2 Manager or GUI.

    Regarding the password when a new user is created.. FOP2 will try to use the voicemail pin if any, if there is no such pin, it will default to the extension number.

    There is also a change password plugin you can install so users can change/reset their passwords if they want to.
