Upgraded to FOP2 with fop2admin. Since upgrade the transfer to mobile function no longer works. No errors, nothing. Just doesn't function any more. What could be wrong?
I am not sure what did you upgrade or how? fop2admin is deprecated, you should use the FOP2 Manager instead that comes bundled with FOP2 recent versions and do not need any extra installation steps. The fop2admin must be uninstalled.
As for transfers, you should describe exactly what happens when you attempt a transfer. In any case, you can start FOP2 in debug mode and look at the output to see the actions being set to the Asterisk AMI and responses received, you will most probably spot configurations problems there.
Sorry, I used the wrong term. I used the fop2 manager (address/fop2/admin) to configure it. It was an upgrade from 2.27 to the 2.30 version. After the upgrade, all transfers fail. When my users click on either the transfer to mobile or transfer to extenstion button on the fop screen, nothing happens, nothing is logged in asterisk logs. I moved them back to 2.27 from backup, and now the tranfer to extension works, but the transfer to mobile remains the same.
Also noted since the upgrade, none of my trunks are available either on the admin screen or on the fop2 user screens. Reverting to the old version didn't fix this either.
Is there ANY way to wipe out the installation completely and just start over from scratch. I am suspecting something may have happened to the sql database entries. There are only about 30 extensions, so reconfiguring this from scratch will not be a major effort.
One more thing to note, This installation is still running trixbox v2.6.23.
Can you please email me at joe.shows@csstn.com when you respond. I have been waiting since the 11th, assuming that your response would come to me via email. This way I will know to look at your response.
Trixbox is old and deprecated. I am not totally sure if the FOP2 Manager will pickup every button type from it. Maybe it does. Maybe it does not. Maybe trunks are not being picked up because of that. In any case there are ways to turn on debug and inspect the mysql queries in order to see if there is any error with those. I am online at the live help now if you want to chat. best regards,
