Groups not visible

I created a group in FOP2 manager and the count on the "Welcome" screen changed from 5 to 6. However the Group name is not visible on FOP2 or Free PBX. Repeated the process, this time on FreePBX >Other>FOP2 Groups menu and got a fatal error due to duplicate name. Tried again with slightly different name, no error message. Again the Group count total went up one notch to 7. Still not visible either in FreePBX or FOP2. Please advise.

    To have "visible" groups you must go to "FOP2 Buttons" and fill the "group" field on every button. You do not want to create any groups in the "FOP2 Groups" page, that is for other purpose.

    If changes in the buttons page do not stick, it is most probably because you have a short limit in the max_input_vars settings in php.ini . You should edit it and increase that limit.
