Can't log in using Chrome browser

Ever since upgrading to the latest version 2.31.05, I can no longer log in to FOP2 UI via Chrome browser. It seems to hang at "One moment please... connecting to server, attempt number: 1"

    You will have to check several things (service running? port used? blocked?) Look here:

    It works fine with Firefox, and Internet Explorer just not Chrome.

    Strange, as the development browser we use is Chrome... perhaps you have some extension installed that disables websockets connections? In any case open the javascript console and take a look at it.
