Starting fop2 help

We bought fop2 6 months ago. We got it installed and everything was working. Today, I had to restart fop2 so I logged into the console and ran "service fop2 restart". It stopped fine but when it tried to start it just hangs at "Starting Flash Operator Panel 2:" and does nothing. The employee who set this up is no longer with the company. Where are the logs to see what is going on? I am at a loss.

    I figured it out and thought I would post in case someone else had the same problem. I had to delete the /tmp/par-root directory and then everything started to work again. I am just not sure why it does not clean that directory up when I stop the fop2 service.
