manual install supervised transfers and transfer to mobile phone

Hi
doing a manual install with thirdlane
got most things working however
when I try to do a supervised transfer or transfer to mobile it sends dmtf tones to phone calling in or called not to asterisk.
transfer to directly to voicemail works perfect.
also I notice if I put a outbound call on hold from my phone None of the buttons work on the FOP2
so I cannot transfer a call that is on hold anywhere? is that normal
