Need help with initial config on clean Asterisk.

Hello.

Trying to set up the FOP2 at the clean asterisk 1.4 installation.
I've manually copied files and folders and trying to start the FOP2, but have no luck.
# /usr/local/fop2/fop2_server --test
Flash Operator Panel 2 - No valid license found. Demo Mode
Couldn't connect to localhost:5038 (Server 0)

then I've checked iptables.
# /etc/init.d/iptables status

Here the fop2.cfg:
[general]
; AMI definitions

manager_port=5038
manager_user=asdasd
manager_secret=wertyuiop
event_mask=agent,call,command,system,user,dialplan

; Daemon definitios
listen_port = 4445
;restrict_host = http://www.asternic.org
web_dir = /var/www/html/fop2

Any suggestions where I lamed up?

  • Check /etc/asterisk/manager.conf and be sure that you have the manager service enabled. You can check if the service is up by using the command:

    netstat -lnp | grep 5038

    Best regards,
  • Oh, forgive the newbie!
    Ofcourse it was "enabled = no".
    Thnx a lot.
