Not sure what statistics are you afraid to loose... the app_queue statistic for the agent will probably get lost, as there is no such feature as "rename" a queue member, but you need to remove and readd it, most probably losing app_queue internal answered calls by that agent. Now, if you use something like Asternic Call Center Stats PRO ( http://www.asternic.net ), then you won't lose them as the software will track and keep stats in its own database. In this case, you will still see data for the agent with the old name, and then new data with the new agent name (But not merged, as they are different agents!), you can do a manual sql edit to merge two agents if needed.
I have the same issue. FOP2 with Issabel backend. FOP2 is not getting the updated name from issabel. please advise
How i solved the issue on Freepbx.
I had users, who are dynamic queue agents. They would have to log into the queue to receive calls.
If you run "asterisk -rx 'queue show' "
You will still see the old username, even though you renamed the extension on FreePBX and fop2 admin has the new username.
Log the agent out of the queue and then recreate the user in fop2 admin. Then will the change take effect.
The issue here was the queue for me.
I have not had an issue as yet with static queue agents, but I will update on a fix if I come across the issue.
