FOP2/Elastix Web GUI

Hi,

I am working on migrating a FOP2 installation over to a new elastix install.

I have installed and licensed FOP2 and its up and running, however if you click on the FOP2 button from the elastix GUI , then try to use the side menu items such as FOP2 Users etc, a 404 error is displayed.

Error: The module modules/fop2users/index.php could not be found!

Should these modules actually exist or am I missing a symbolic link somewhere?

Cheers

Gavin

  • You must install FOP2 from the Elastix Marketplace, as it has some key components tailored for Elastix. The tarball version will not work as is with the Elastix GUI.

You can install FOP2 from the Market and later upgrade from a .tar.gz is you want to test/use 2.27 beta. We are working on finalizing the beta and release updated rpms for elastix so you can update via yum. But it is not done yet.

    Best regards,
  • Hi Nicolas,

That could be the problem, if I try to install FOP2 via the Elastix Addons tab I just get a grey screen when I click on the Try button.

Cannot find anything specific about this problem in the error log however and as such have just installed from the .tar.gz

  • You can install from the command line using yum, try

    yum install fop2

    Best regards,
  • This explains then why its failing ;
    # yum install fop2

    Nothing to do

Looks like ive lost my elastix repos' somehow :(
  • Well, I am not versed in Elastix repositories, maybe they are disabled in /etc/yum.repos.d ?

You can install from .tgz, but the Elastix gui parts are not included, you can install fop2admin and access the unembedded versions of freepbx to administer fop2 too.
  • Hi Nicolas,

You were correct, for some reason commercial-addons.repo was disabled. I have fixed this and installed fop2 from the repository.

The installer gave the following error, but then said the install was complete - not sure if this is a bug?

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function queues_list() in /var/www/html/admin/modules/fop2admin/functions.inc.php on line 1320

    Many Thanks,

    Gavin
