SIP & IAX2 show different 'clid' when in ring group.

I'm using FOP to pop an external window to a crm calling the record via ISSET clid=
The problem I am seeing is
I have multiple phones in a ring group (ext600) if I monitor mybutton=(A_SIP_EXT)
the clidname & clid are passed as
clidname=PHVua25vd24%2BIA%3D%3D&clid=600%20 (the ring group is 600 the clid should be 07969923301)
WHEREAS if i monitor mybutton=(AN_IAX2_EXT)
the clidname & clid are passed as
clidname=MDc5MDk5ODMzMDEg&clid=07969923301%20 (which is correct)
This is using FOP 0.29 FreePBX 2.8.0.4
Any suggestions?
