install seems to be fine, but not getting any events in the panel

I'm running on raspbx, I downloaded the src and did make install, followed the instructions, fop_server -test succeeds. But on the panel, I see a VM indicator, but don't see any change when a phone is in use? Any ideas? I really want to purchase FOP2, but I need to get it working first?

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit?
