Hi Nicolas, I cannot dial a button in FOP2 2.2.8 for my logged in extension after I reloaded FOP2, before either my phone is called by someone or I make an outgoing call on my phone directly. Basically an event related to my phone has to occur, before I call dial a button. Any idea?

    Michael

Update: I have 2 servers configured (localhost + an external). All related buttons I was testing are configured for server 1. In debug mode I could see, that the failed call event is sent to server 2 instead of 1. After a call on my phone, the next event is sent to localhost (1).

do you have a "server=x.x.x.x" line in your button configuration file ?

This is new to me (IP).
I use "server=1" and "server=2". I meant I found that in an older documentation.
Is the use of the IP-address new and documented somewhere? Does it also work with hostnames?

Update: I tested it with IP-addresses in "server=", but no change in behavior.

Do you have a device with the same name on server 2?

No, I don't have a same name on both servers.

BTW: When I comment out server 2 in fop2.cfg and in the button.cfg the button dialing works fine after reload.

I have to find the time to setup two servers and make some tests, as it sounds and smells like a fop2 bug. Unfortunately time is quite limited lately.
