IAX trunk show no activity

I have two IAX trunks buttons defined in buttos.cfg.
The problem is they show up in de FOP2 panel but doesn't show any activity.
The rest of the buttons (extensions and queues) are working just fine.
I have the following configuration:

My buttons.cfg file in FOP2
[IAX/12-IAX]
type=trunk
label=IGCN IAX trunk inkomend

[IAX/IAX-12]
type=trunk
label=IGCN IAX trunk uitgaand

My IAX.conf file in Asterisk
[IAX-12]
type=peer
Callerid="IAX Out channel"
host=iax.12connect.com

[12-IAX]
type=user
host=dynamic
username=12-IAX
secret=xxxxxx
context=remote

[IAX2/12-IAX]
type=trunk
label=IGCN IAX trunk inkomend

[IAX2/IAX-12]
type=trunk
label=IGCN IAX trunk uitgaand

I have changed the context from IAX to IAX2 as you suggested but still no luck
Any other ideas?

What do you see in the asterisk console if you do a "show channels" while you have some calls going on over those trunks?

The change from IAX to IAX2 works now.

i dont have such file buttons.cfg. and IAX2 extensions are not shown . Please advise
