Just trying to test a new installation and there seems to be some unresolved dependencies. First it was trying to use perl 5.8 whereas my system has 5.14. I added a symlink 5.8 -> 5.14. Next it wanted libcrypto.so.0.9.8 by my system has libcrypto.so.1.0.0, so I added another symlink. Now it wants OPENSSL_0.9.8. I'm not sure how to link to the version of openssl on my system.

Is there a configuration step that I missed along the way?

    thanks for any advice!

      Hi,

You do not need to upgrade perl, just a symlink or install libcrypto 0.9.x for fop 2.26. Or you can go the easy route and install 2.27 directly that includes all the needed libraries

thanks for the reply. I managed to get past this problem by installing libssl0.9.8.

You are right, I wrote libcrypto but I meant libssl. Anyways, give 2.27 a spin on your next install to avoid that conflict.
