    You can spin up AstLinux in a VM ...

    AstLinux Project
    http://www.astlinux-project.org

    One idea, add a new additional method using "blkid" to obtain the UUID, then allow either the current disk media check or the new "blkid" check to pass the test. Only if they both fail does your disk test fail.

    I'm sure this will help other paying users on other platforms as well.

    Edit: you can install an arbitrary FOP2 version by using the CLI command in AstLinux:

    upgrade-package fop2 upgrade http://path-to/fop2-2.31.01-debian-x86_64.tgz

    But note that a SHA1 fop2-2.31.01-debian-x86_64.tgz.sha1 file must also exist at that location.

    Nicolás, if you added the "blkid" test, I'm sure Michael would be happy to test it for you, no need to install AstLinux yourself if you don't have the time.

    Nicolás, if there is anything we can do in AstLinux to help you let us know.

    It would seem you are not using "blkid" to obtain the UUID of the disk media.

  • Use iPad to connect to FOP2?

    Interesting, I see the same as mkeuter and with iOS 7.0.4 on an iPad v3.

    But... with iOS 7.0.4 in an iPad Air or iPad Mini Retina (64bit CPU) FOP2 works perfectly.

    Clearly this seems like an Apple issue.

  • Support FOP2MAILBOXCHECK UserEvent
    A abelbeck
    Feedback

    There are times where the Asterisk voicemail files are managed externally. Not until a core "MessageWaiting" event is generated does FOP2's extension mailbox status get updated. Only Voicemail() and VoicemailMain() in Asterisk can generate core "MessageWaiting" events.

    I'm suggesting FOP2 honor a FOP2MAILBOXCHECK UserEvent:

    Event: UserEvent
    Privilege: user,all
    UserEvent: FOP2MAILBOXCHECK
    Action: UserEvent
    Mailbox: 1234@default

    same => n,UserEvent(FOP2MAILBOXCHECK,Mailbox: 1234@default)

    and then trigger a mailbox check for that mailbox.

    Of course if the "Mailbox:' argument does not match any of the extension buttons mailbox= value, the request is ignored.

    Reasonable ? Or possibly you already have such a mechanism ?

  • MessageWaiting events not forwarded in a timely mannor

    My manager.conf is

    [fop2]
    secret = secret1
    deny = 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
    permit = 127.0.0.1/255.255.255.255
    read = all
    write = all
    writetimeout = 1000
    eventfilter=!Event: RTCPSent
    eventfilter=!Event: RTCPReceived
    eventfilter=!Event: VarSet
    eventfilter=!Event: Cdr
    eventfilter=!Event: ExtensionStatus
    eventfilter=!Event: ChannelUpdate

    I even tried without the "eventfilter" lines, same result.

    Clearly fop2_server is handling the "Event: MessageWaiting" and I am using the using the standard VoicemailMain() to test.

    A "service fop2 reload" (-HUP) always immediately updates the web client.

  • Support user_htpasswd= hash
    A abelbeck
    Feedback

    Hi,

    In AstLinux we have an administration web interface with an exiting .htpasswd file for basic auth using lighttpd.

    It would very nice if fop2.cfg could support htpasswd style hashes, possibly something like:

    user_htpasswd = admin:X5fzxhp46gqCa:all
    user_htpasswd = 1234:Xa7O93k.uQlGz:dial,transfer,pickup,meetme

    (or some clever way to still use user= and signal a htpasswd hash)

    In this way, we could easily generate the users with a #exec script.

    Reasonable ?

    Hi,

    I'm an AstLinux developer integrating FOP2 for a future release, excellent work Nicolás ! I'm hearing cheers from our users already. 🙂

    Our development team has been testing, using fop2-2.27-debian-i386, and we notice the mailbox icon is not updated on status changes, only a "service fop2 reload" (-HUP) updates the mailbox icon. Logging out/in does not update it.

    We are using basically the standard default fop2.cfg file.

    poll_interval = 86400
    poll_voicemail = 1

    (setting poll_interval very short did not help, and seems unnecessary)

    Manually "nc 127.0.0.1 5038" using the "fop2" user I see:

    Event: MessageWaiting
    Privilege: call,all
    Mailbox: 1234@default
    Waiting: 0

    Event: MessageWaiting
    Privilege: call,all
    Mailbox: 1234@default
    Waiting: 1
    New: 1
    Old: 0

    which FOP2 seems to recognize, but does not get reflected to the web client until a "service fop2 reload".

    Is this a config error on my part or possibly a bug in the beta ?
