What browser are you using? Did you try with a different web browser (firefox, chrome?). In any case, sometimes disabling websockets in /var/www/html/fop2/js/presence.js helps, as there might be quirks with the websocket implementation among browsers, check the fop2.com/blog page for an article describing some if you use https+firefox.
