The user interface doesn't load at all, either timing out or yes, even with a CLEAN INSTALL, still talking about Flash Player 9 not being installed (Yes, I know there have been other posts about Flash Player warnings, but I'm telling you, I have NEVER EVER even had FOP1, and I still get Flash Player warnings... but I digress... the user panel never loads.)

The admin panel (in versions earlier than 2.31) would never say that the backend was ombutel, just "custom". I have done multiple "complete removes" and reinstalls.
It. Just. Doesn't. Work.

Now, I know that FOP2 and Ombutel/Xorcom had a bit of falling out, but I certainly liked FOP2 more than the god-awful "Supervision" switchboard, which is why we re-upped our FOP2 license.
Now, unfortunately, I'm sitting here unable to install FOP2, and even a reverse-ssh session with the folks at FOP2 couldn't get it to work.
So, I have a phone system, ready to deploy, but I have no switchboard to use.

Has anyone else had success in getting FOP2 to run with Xorcom CompletePBX / Ombutel?
I am running CompletePBX version 5.1.26.2, which is (to my understanding) Ombutel. I've tried every version of FOP2 from 2.28 through 2.31, with limited success.

In the FOP2 admin, you need to create users. That is where you assign extensions (as a user) and the password.

I have about 130 extensions with a touch screen. I don't see why FOP2 wouldn't work; you will certainly want to group your extensions though.

It is a two-step process.
"Reload Asterisk" pulls the information from asterisk into FOP2. Once that is completed, "Reload FOP" commits the changes and updates the switchboard.

I had a similar problem (unrelated to FOP2, but the same as you are having) in that when I transferred a call, the caller ID was showing the station that was doing the transfer (the extension) instead of the original CID. This is a phone / asterisk setting, not a FOP2 setting.

In the phones, you need to change your CallerID Source to PAI (or such) so that it shows the original caller ID, and not the "FROM" Caller ID.

What browser are you using? Chrome recently disabled flash. It can be enabled again, but you have to do it in the chrome settings.

You need chat permission, and possibly chat-admin

How about an option to start/restart fop2 from fop2 manager?
Is that also a privilege issue?

While you couldn't do this from the FOP2 web interface, you COULD do it in a dialplan in Asterisk... dial a "secret code" which would restart the service (or run any command you wish....)

Are you connecting with the FQDN or with an IP address?
Sounds like you may have an issue with DNS or with your gateway.

Really a feature request....
We have our folks in groups. Groups can be a half dozen people, or they can be 25 people. The names are currently sorted horizontally... it would be nice if there were the option to sort vertically instead. Makes it easier on the eyes to track....

(This has become a moot point since management this morning decided that everyone gets voicemail)

When we first deployed FOP2, the "Transfer to voicemail" button would "grey out" if the mailbox did not have a voicemail.

That was awesome, because the switchboard could tell if the user had voicemail or not.
Mysteriously, that stopped working.... any idea what may have changed?

Yes... I have the presence box DND plugin installed.

Using the Presence Change addin works great! It's a great way for our switchboard to know if someone is out sick, out to lunch, etc.
Question though.... is there a way to put the extension itself on DND when any presence besides "Available" is selected?
Changing the presence at the switchboard works fine, but the change isn't reflected on the phone.
We're using Xorcom CompletePBX (Asterisk)

I'm using version 2.31.06 64-bit version.
If we lock the extension widgets, they won't expand/collapse, or the heights get all messed up.

We have a bunch of Yealink T46G phones. Our Asterisk system (Xorcom) is set to do SMS messaging between phones. SMS messages don't go outside of the system.

Is there a plugin that would allow our switchboard to send SMS messages to phones from within FOP2? It would be a great add-in, allowing the switchboard to send a simple message like "You have a package up front". I can send SMS from phone to phone, this functionality in FOP2 would be awesome.

We have about 130 extensions on FOP2. They are in groups, such as "Accounting" and "IT".
There are also queues for Accounting and IT, and FOP2 does a great job when you touch the queue of showing only the group.
However, the group order changes. The switchboard likes to have the groups in a certain order, those groups that get the most calls at the top. If I touch the queue though, it hides the other groups (which is fine) and shows the group for that queue (which is fine), but when you touch the queue again to un-select it, the groups get re-ordered.

How can I keep the groups from getting randomly re-ordered, and stay in the order that the switchboard has put them in, regardless of the queue filtering?
