FOP2 Community Forum

My FreePBX server was a few versions behind, so I updated it. It all went very smooth, but now FOP won't transfer calls. I upgraded to 2.28, erased the management module from FreePBX. (love the web based config) It functions well, I feel like there is a disconnect between FOP and Asterisk that I can't put my finger on. The config files all have transfers turned on, as I have read older threads with similar problems.

I also upgraded Asterisk to version 13. Not sure if that caused some of the problems.

What can I do to debug this problem?

I had to upgrade to 2.26. Once I did that, problem was solved.

I just upgraded three of my office computers to Mountain Lion. Now, we cannot get them to hook to the FOP. The 10.7 computers can access it fine, but the 10.8 machines cannot.

I am still running version 2.20 on my Trixbox. I have tried Safari, Firefox, and Chrome.

The firewall is off on the computers, I can telnet into port 4445 from terminal, I am connecting via https.

I am wondering if some new security feature on Mountain lion is keeping the two machines from communicating. Any help would be great!

We have been using the chat very successfully for a while. Then today, someone had a chat box come up with "undefined undefined" at the top. Not only has his chat box always stay on, if he tries to close it, it crashes the fop2 completely. Also, his preference pane is unable to be edited.

I think erasing his preferences and recreating his user would work, but I don't know where the preferences data is.

Ok, I have been working on this for a while today with nothing. I can guarantee that my client machines are working right, since everyone in the office had this working for the last 6 months, but now it has died.

I believe that I have screwed something up, since I had some down time on my Virtual Machine a few weeks ago. I could go back to one of my backups, but everything else seems to be working fine, just this. I am hoping that we can figure this out and stay with what we have.

If I leave the echo "alert part on, I get the brown box, that shows Incoming Call, but the picture doesn't show, and the text says "From queue: alert('custom popup 888888888, Named Caller, undefined, 504');

If I uncomment the window.open, nothing happens. I think something else is wrong. The browser is set to allow popups, I reinstalled FOP2.

Anything you can do to help would be great.

I have a Trixbox 2.8, installed v 2.11 and its been working great.

Did a restart the other day, and now my pop-ups are not working. I had it set so that when someone dialed it it would pop up and search our web based database, but now its suddenly gone. If I uncomment the "alert" part of the checkdir.php, then commented my part out, and the alert works. Just the window.open command doesn't.

I deleted the /tmp/par-root folder
I have restarted both the service and server multiple times
I have verified that my checkdir.php file is good by changing it back to the default, but same effect.

Any ideas?

I restarted my server today, and when it booted back up, it would freeze every time at FOP2 during boot up. I finally got it to boot by using the interactive startup and skipping FOP2 so our phones are back up now.

Trying to figure out what has changed. I tried the fop2_server --test, but everything I do, just seems to hang. What can I do to see why its hanging? I upgraded to the new version about a month ago, and have restarted it since. I am using a Trixbox CE system.

I love the service by the way. Thanks for keeping it up, the upgrade was really nice.
