  • Retrieve a call placed on hold at an extension?

    I have an inbound call centre where the agents are very busy. Sometimes they place a caller on hold while they take another call (don't ask why - this is what the client wants). The agent may forget that he has a caller on hold. Can the supervisor pick up the call on hold - effectively "sieze" it back from that extension, using fop2?

    Hi

    I have installed FOP2-2.23 and FreePBX-admin 1.2.9. The extension buttons are all live and active, but incoming and outgoing calls on the DAHDI/g0 channel do not appear on the panel.

    core show channels
    Channel Location State Application(Data)
    DAHDI/i1/02xxxxxxxxx- (None) Up AppDial((Outgoing Line))
    SIP/130-00002500 s@macro-dialout-trun Up Dial(DAHDI/g0/02xxxxxxxxx,300,T

  • Visual phonebook in Asterisk database?

    I see from your README file in fop2 2.23 that the VisualPhonebook table is being moved from a separate fop2 database into the asterisk database.

    How do I set this up? The installation instructions (and the script in mysql.db) both use the fop2 database. Do I set it up there, and then migrate as per the README? Surely it would be better to set ip up directly in the asterisk database?

  • Bug in /usr/local/fop2/autoconfig-buttons-freepbx.sh

    There is a bug in /usr/local/fop2/autoconfig-buttons-freepbx.sh

    This was pointed out by kouri in View Post 774&p=2854&hilit=too+many+arguments#p2854

    Line 15 is:
    AMPVERSION=cat $AMPDIR | grep version | sed -e 's/<[^>]*>//g' | cut -b 2,4

    It should be:
    AMPVERSION=cat $AMPDIR | grep "<version>" | sed -e 's/<[^>]*>//g' | cut -b 2,4

    This is because there are now two lines in admin/modules/framework/module.xml matching "version":
    <version>2.7.0.10</version>
    2.7.0.7 add php version to online checking
    By adding the "<" and ">", it reduces to one line match, so the version number is correctly extracted again.
