The idea is the other way around, display 1 line and when set to dynamic it will display 2 or 3 only when it is used making the changes to the alignment seldom and perhaps more predictable.
The problem is that all do not fit in one screen with 2 lines that are seldom used (in my case at least)

I have yet to figure out how to get the trunks to display the calls. I have a 4 line POTS card and the call it always is displayed in the last button being that DAHDI/1-1 or DAHDI/2-1 or DAHDI/g0.
The IAX2 trunk did not display incoming calls so I added IAX2-br1 (the named of the incoming trunk) and it started to work, I try the same for the POTS but nothing makes it display on the proper button.
I look in the database and the entry show in the "mail" field but the iax is correct, I try to manually enter the number in the database but the panel wont start.
What is the correct syntax to enter the dahdi ports? how about "g0" or another group?

Just upgraded a customer to 2.30 and selected the dynamic line display and no lines are displayed in the screen. before we had a single line. most of the time the user uses a single line and we can adjust the display to fit all buttons.
How do I setup so it will show 1 line then if more is used it will show more?
The problem is that when the call expands the display the button moves and the operator will need to hunt for it.
if it has to move it should move to a predictable place, perhaps the whole line should expand down and the button stay where it is.

Not working here, every time I try a shift-> reload I get the login prompt again and even http://your.server/fop2/js/presence.js show the change it does not display anything.
one interesting part is that the versions 2.11 works fine. Ill assume that does not support web socket...
I have also try to clear the cache.
is there an update I can download?

I have all but 6 ext but have some 30 trunks, many conf and many park.
How can I change the way it looks so I can see the trunks, conf etc in columns like the ext show and the ext in single column?
I try to swap the grid_12 and grid_4 but the trunk buttons just got real wide and not in columns.

removing the label will make it a 2 step process, disable the trunk and remove the label, then when the trunk is again available try to remember to add the label again. automation would be nice. we know the trunk exist and it is configured but disabled so dont show. when it comes back it shows again.

A way to configure an option to hide the disabled trunks so it does not show in the list.

It would be nice to display the status of day-night switches so the operator can see them, perhaps on top to the right of the status drop down box.

Where is this global var that can make the ext button with only 1 line? I can use that really bad. please?

Any news on this great feature :), any chance this will happen or is already there and I missed the update.

my incoming calls to local ext do not show in the trunks. I try to add a button for it like I used in fop1 but the call still a ghost.
I added the button in button.cfg as:
[_SIP/trunk1-in*]
type=trunk
label=sip/trunk1-in
where "trunk1" is the actual name of the trunk as configures in the asterisk incoming.

any hints?

I have temporary fixed the issue. On the original installed system I had changed the "Direct Dial Voicemail Prefix" from * to the number 8 for compatibility with the old system.
It has been working great like this all along and the transfer button always worked.
By putting the code back to the "*" the button started to work again.
Perhaps a bug on FOP2 that is not picking up the code change from asterisk?
Would it be possible that freepbx changed something and an updated of freepbx broke FOP2?
I am running the latest 2.7.0.8 core and every module is uptodate.

I would like to put it back to "8" since every one is used to that code.

very weird, it has been working all along but today it stopped. when we try to select the extention to transfer to and click on the transfer to voicemail button the call to be transfered hears voice saying goodbye and the call is disconnected.
normal transfer works ok. all manual transfer blind or attended direct or voice mail not using the panel works fine.

How can I troubleshoot this?
I have restarted asterisk and fop2 but still the same.

great, indeed it may be funky but the overall benefits to those with lots of buttons may override the funkyness, perhaps it could be set on a switch one can turn it off if one doesnt have so many buttons to display. I will be waiting for the release. if you want me to beta test it let me know I have 3 customers i can try this on.

My phones have 2 lines each and the button uses 3 lines for each button. I see that the trunk listing will show the call only when there is a call and at call end it just disappear.
Can the same idea be applied to the buttons where it will show only the 1st line with the Ext number and name but when a call is in progress it will open a new line and display it. That will save 2 display lines per row fitting more button on the same screen.
it may be annoying to some I would imagine but it should not be as bad as having to scroll the screen down to see the rest of the buttons.
I have 51 buttons for a single operator. and already made the font and buttons as small as it can be read.

I need to change the color of the CLID in the button, and make it bold or more contrasting so it is easier to see. like RED on a white BG.
I am not good on css. if someone can give me some ideas to where and what to change I would appreciate.

How do I disable the popup alert from being displayed on every call that comes in?
it is crowding the panel hiding access to the ext list. very annoying when the operator is busy it cascade several of those into the panel viewing.

I have just updated to the latest version on 2 systems and one system DND is working somewhat:
it works ok if one uses *78 and *79 to turn it on and off BUT it does not work if one uses *76 to toggle.
If one uses *78 to turn it on and *76 to togle it off the panel will continue to show it is ON and a restart of the panel wont show the correct setting.

ON the second box I just cant get it to work at all.
I have copied the extensions_override_freepbx.conf the the /etc/asterisk/
I restarted the panel and reloaded asterisk but no joy...
what could I have missed on the second box?
