Notifications on Google Chrome stopped working after I upgraded to version 2.27. Today, I upgraded to the latest FOP2 chrome extension and notifications still do not work. The interesting part is if I go to the FOP2 Extension Options and make a change, the notification works until I close the browser and then it stops working again until I make another change in FOP2 Extension option. Any ideas?

I think my question was unclear. I meant to say if a call comes through a queue, have one timeout and if a call comes directly to an extension, have another timeout. I hope that makes more sense.

Which permissions will give the user to see all the recordings? I have users which do no have all permissions but they can still see all the recordings.

I finally got the fop2recordings updated with all the recorded calls. Can someone give me some ideas on how I can set permissions on recorded calls. I would like admin to be able to listen to all, managers to listen to a certain group of calls and everyone else to listen to their own calls. Should I create another flag in the database or go off the owner extension?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

We have recordings on for all calls, will future versions have the ability to listen to them?

I documented what I thought all of the permissions meant. Could you fill in the blanks or ? and update the ones I did not document correctly?

all = all permissions

dial = Have the ability to dial using fop2

hangup = Have the ability to hangup anyones phone

hangupself = Have the ability to hangup only your phone

meetme = ?

pickup = Have the ability to pickup from a queue

record = Have the ability to record anyones conversation

recordself = Have the ability to record your conversation

spy = Have the ability to spy on a call

transfer = Have the ability to transfer a call internally within the system

Is there new documentation that talks about the permissions in fop2? The current documentation only explains some basic permission features but there are a lot more and was wondering what they do.

It would be nice to have the ability to give admin rights to only certain mailboxes. We have an emergency mailbox that everyone accesses to listen to voicemail. It would be nice to click on the mailbox through fop and listen to the voicemail. I do not want to give everyone voicemailadmin rights.

This was exactly what we are looking for also. We always have to log into the ARI to listen to recorded calls. Did you say that it would be included in a future release?

Is there anyway to change the status of a person through the phone and have it show up on fop2? Ex. Change available to "Out to Lunch"

We wanted to have distinctive ringtones for certain queues. Whenever we added extensions statically to the queue in freepbx, worked fine. If we added the extensions to a queue through fop2 then it would not work unless I created a custom sipaddrheader in freepbx_override*.conf.

I was wondering if anybody new a way to increase the timeout for the Google Chrome Notification from fop2. It only stays up 2-3 seconds. I was wondering if we could make it stay longer?

I am not an Asterisk expert so excuse my ignorance.

When I look in my asterisk logs it shows:
[2010-10-04 11:55:05] VERBOSE[22217] app_dial.c: -- Called bw_outbound_pri/+1443XXXXXXX (X are real numbers)
[2010-10-04 11:55:05] VERBOSE[22217] app_dial.c: -- SIP/bw_outbound_pri-08c449c8 is ringing
[2010-10-04 11:55:06] VERBOSE[22216] pbx.c: > Channel SIP/bw_outbound_pri-08bd8928 was answered.

but in fop2, it shows SIP/bw_outbound_pri-08bd8928 for all calls (meaning bw_outbound_pri-some numbers but not telephone numbers), what am I doing wrong?

In the extensions, it shows the phone numbers correctly.

I guess I am confused about the trunk display in fop2. I have 4 people on the phone because I can see 4 active extensions in fop2 showing phone calls with outside lines. In the trunks it shows 3 lines in use and only one call with details.

Does trunks only show outgoing calls? Or should it show both incoming and outgoing?

I thought trunk is supposed to shows call details. It used to show the details of the phone number in the trunk in version 2.10 but after I upgraded to version 2.11, it shows the following:
3 lines in use
SIP/bw_outbound_pri-08c44648

Any ideas?

I created a second sip trunk that my provider has as a backup. When I disabled the first trunk and then made calls, it would not display anything in the trunk. It would show the call on the extension but not in the trunk. Any ideas?

I figured it out and thought I would post in case someone else had the same problem. I had to delete the /tmp/par-root directory and then everything started to work again. I am just not sure why it does not clean that directory up when I stop the fop2 service.
