Ran through the steps to the reboot. The proscribed test (/usr/local/fop2/fop2_server --test) to determine the status of the services fails:

    /usr/local/fop2/fop2_server --test

    [root@localhost ~]# [root@localhost ~]# /usr/local/fop2/fop2_server --test
    at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/PAR/Heavy.pm line 128
    -bash: [root@localhost: command not found
[root@localhost ~]# Cant: No such file or directory
    [root@localhost ~]# > at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/PAR/Heavy.pm line 128
-bash: /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/PAR/Heavy.pm: No such file or directory
    [root@localhost ~]# > BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /tmp/par-root/cache-f6ba657fdf55d1e2610c81a3cd82f6709d197a8b/inc/lib/Filter/Crypto/Decrypt.pm line 37.
    -bash: failed--compilation: command not found
    [root@localhost ~]# > Compilation failed in require at script/fop2_server.pl line 1.
    -bash: failed: command not found
    [root@localhost ~]# > BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at script/fop2_server.pl line 1.
    -bash: failed--compilation: command not found

    Please advise.

I am confused by the output you posted, it seems that an error was typed on the console, generating a bunch of no such file errors too? In any case, what I can read from the actual error seems to be related to a missing library that can be fixed via symlink or installed version 2.27. Please read the last question in the FAQ on how to add a crypto symlink for centos 6.

Thank you! Adding the symlink fixed the error on the test command, which is now outputting this:

        [root@localhost ~]# /usr/local/fop2/fop2_server --test
Flash Operator Panel 2 - No valid license found. Demo Mode
        Connection to manager OK!

I've installed the FreePBX module and all seems okay, except that I can't login to FOP2. The login screen appears at http://host/fop2, but when I enter an extension and voicemail password, it says "Attempting to connect to server..." and eventually times out to "System is not available right now."

The users and buttons in the FreePBX module seem to be correctly populated; I'm at a loss for how to proceed at this point.

        Please advise.

          Please check this online troubleshooter:

          http://support.asternic.biz/index.php?/ ... tep/View/4

You have to verify several things: fop2 server running, binding to port 4445, port not blocked, and that you have no plugins preventing the connection.

Thank you. The troubleshooter worked well. In this case, for some reason, the service wasn't running. I started it and now FOP2 is working. Thank you for the prompt assistance today.
