  • FOP2 chrome plugin dial phonebook entries
    A andybonyx
    Support

    Hi,
    I'm looking to see if this is possible, we use the FOP2 chrome extension to show popups of inbound calls and state of other people in the same queue as users, however what our users would like is to be able to click the FOP2 chrome icon and be able to click on an extension to dial it (or search and then dial).

    Is this currently possible, or able to be expanded to do this?

    Many thanks.

    Andy Brown

  • DND settings not making it to astmanager
    A andybonyx
    Support

    Sorry, I have found the problem!
    I didn't have a valid extension=3228 line in the [EXTENSION/3228] section. Therefore it didn't have a full list of buttons along the top, and since it was classed as 'not a valid extension' it wasn't writing values to the asterisk database.

    DND settings aren't making it to astmanager.
    Watching asterisk manager for the events, logged into fop2 via the web interface, and have the daemon running in debug foreground to see what I get.
    I login as an extension number, and get the usual flash display. I can change the drop-down to DND, and in the fop2 daemon I see the error:

    Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at script/fop2_server.pl line 9302.
    Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at script/fop2_server.pl line 9360.

    Logged, and no events make it to the asterisk manager API.

    Connection to AMI from fop2 works fine, I can see the active session.
    Snippets of the config as follows:

    [general]
    ; AMI definitions
    manager_host=localhost
    manager_port=5038
    manager_user=admin
    manager_secret=blahblah

    user=3228:1234:all
    [EXTENSION/3228]
    type=extension
    label=3228-ACCTS-REP
    context=from-internal

    Can anyone spot what the perl/patten match error in fop2_server.pl is please? Nic could you advise what those lines are in the raw uncompiled code that would help where we've gone wrong here please?

    Regards,
    Andy

  • Queue Stats

    Feedback

    Loving FOP2 and all the users here (large multi-sites, so several FOP2 installations purchased) find it really intuitive and like the clean display.
    Onto my request:

    Something simple (or perhaps when you click a Queue to show only queue members/that queue) that gives similar to the 'show queues' output on the CLI. So it would show how many calls individual phones have taken, or any kind of stats like that.

    226 has 0 calls (max unlimited) in 'rrmemory' strategy (31s holdtime), W:0, C:58, A:6, SL:0.0% within 0s
    Members:
    Local/416@from-internal/n (Not in use) has taken 28 calls (last was 89 secs ago)
    Local/414@from-internal/n (Not in use) has taken no calls yet
    Local/413@from-internal/n (Not in use) has taken no calls yet
    Local/412@from-internal/n (Not in use) has taken 10 calls (last was 2741 secs ago)
    Local/401@from-internal/n (Not in use) has taken 20 calls (last was 34 secs ago)
    No Callers

  • Presence - remove Other

    No problem, thank you for the quick reply.
    It's actually not a major issue for me, what I've done (for anyone else curious) is made my users aware of this by changing a bit of the visible javascript code:
    index.html (line 60):

    <select id='presence' name='presence' onChange='alert("Changing this sets you to DND on the phone system, so CANNOT receive calls!\rSo remember to set it back to Available");setState(this);'>

    As you can see this just pops a box up to warn people that changing this sets it on the phone system! Simple and works 😉

  • Presence - remove Other

    Hi,
    Probably a simple one but I'd like to remove "Other" from the drop-down for presence. I can't see it in the presence.js so thinking this is hard-coded?

    Reason being, my curious users are setting themselves to "Other" and wondering why they won't get any calls!

    Thanks for any advice.

    Regards,
    Andy
