Most probably your manager connection is unstable or disconnected. It connects but after a short while the connection is lost, at that point, you will see the manager connection error on the browser and status mismatch on the buttons.
Be sure to setup a special manager user for fop2 , if possible following the sample on this blog post:

Then try again.
