If you retrieve voicemails from other voicemailboxes, in previous versions there was a problem if you had other people looking at voicemail at the same time, as a new request by user in position 4 would update the voicemail list for another user in whatever position it was. So code was changed so requests, for your or other inboxes would always return a response with the position of the requestor, so only the requestor voicemail list is updated.

I get this often too. The only thing I've found that helps is setting up a separate machine next to the user, like a spare laptop on their desk simply for FOP2. The disconnects stop happening when I do this. If they don't have a separate machine, the disconnects range from a few times a day to sometimes every 10 minutes. Try with a separate machine and see if your disconnects stop too. We use google chrome. Problem is due to casting to avoid issues with some systems.. in yours cast for that field is returning 1 char out of the whole bunch. I am changing the query to cast char(50) in the hope that it will cast all digits. There is a new binary server file on your test server you can test it out. I think it works fine now.

Hi, The settings in voicemail.conf are for asterisk to check the mailboxes, and fire appropriate events to AMI if there is a change. Those values are all that should be needed to get refreshed numbers on FOP2. You can always start FOP2 in debug mode and inspect the manager events, the mailbox counts, that are returned by Asterisk and see if those are correct or still wrong. If the later, is an asterisk problem.. if the former, and fop2 displays wrong data, is a fop2 problem. Best regards,

It depends on how you store voicemail. If it is file based or voicemail based. It seems there is some kind of issue with the metadata for those messages. Some times the message number/id is duplicated and not renumbered when a different message is deleted, that could lead to issues like this. If you look at the msgnum, is ZERO for both of them, if the metadata changes to be 2 it will work.

Confirmed the problem... I am working on a fix (to be included in the upcoming 2.29 version).

There is no way to override default actions, perhaps it can be added as a new feature in a future release. There is a risk of breaking other things if overriding default actions, but I guess users that will use that are savvy enough to handle that.

Not sure what fop2 version you tried. I was not able to reproduce the issue. I have set the presence value to Away, just as you describe, and it works fine. I also chose the other presence and typed "Away" and it also works fine. Perhaps you have some buggy version, please try with 2.28 final.
